How the toad works
JINCHAN is a meme coin on Robinhood Chain, named for Jin Chan (金蟾) — the three-legged jade money toad of Chinese prosperity lore, traditionally placed facing the door with a coin in its mouth to attract wealth. Meme on the outside; on the inside, a verifiable fee-routing machine you can read line by line.
The token itself is deliberately boring: a standard vanilla ERC-20 minted by the Pons launchpad. No transfer taxes, no reflections, no special token code. Everything interesting happens one layer up, in how the trading fees are routed — and every step of that routing is on-chain and checkable.
Describe the plumbing, not the outcome. Plumbing is fact.
The mechanics
JINCHAN launches through Pons, which works the same way for every token it mints:
- A fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens is minted to a bonding curve. No more can ever exist.
- Every trade pays a 3% trade fee: Pons's 1% base (split ~70/30 creator/protocol) plus a 2% creator tax fixed at launch — so about 2.7% of all volume flows to the creator, in ETH.
- This applies on the bonding curve and after graduation, when liquidity moves into a permanently locked Uniswap pool. The fee stream does not stop at graduation.
JINCHAN's one design decision: the creator-fee stream doesn't go to a wallet someone controls. It feeds an ownerless staking vault, which splits it two-thirds to stakers pro-rata, one-third to the marketing wallet.
Where a trade's fee goes
That's the whole machine. It fills when the token trades and sits still when it doesn't — the flow is entirely volume-dependent, and volume is never promised.
The vault (JinChanVault)
The vault is ownerless. It holds exactly two immutable addresses set at deploy — the JINCHAN token and the marketing wallet — and has zero admin functions. There is no owner to renounce, because nothing was ever controllable.
User functions
stake(amount)— deposit JINCHAN into the vault.unstake(amount)— withdraw any amount, any time. No lockups.claim()— send your accrued ETH to your wallet.earned(address)— view function; check anyone's claimable ETH.claimMarketing()— anyone may call it; it only ever pays the fixed marketing address.
Accounting
Rewards use the standard accumulated-ETH-per-share (accPerShare)
pattern: each incoming ETH raises a global per-share counter, and your claimable balance is
your stake times the counter's growth since you last settled. ETH that arrives while
nothing is staked queues up and distributes to the next stakers. Wei-level rounding dust
may remain in the contract — harmless, and standard for this pattern.
The contract is reentrancy-guarded and follows checks-effects-interactions. Unclaimed ETH doesn't expire or get swept; it stays yours and keeps accruing until you claim it.
The vault has no owner. The pond belongs to everyone.
Tokenomics
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Total supply | 1,000,000,000 — fixed by Pons at mint, no inflation possible |
| Team allocation | 0% — no pre-mine; the dev buys in on the curve like everyone else |
| Transfer tax | 0% — standard ERC-20; the fee lives at the pool level, not in the token |
| Liquidity | Permanently locked via Pons graduation into Uniswap |
| Fee pipeline | 3% trade fee (1% base + 2% creator tax) → ~2.7% of volume to creator (in ETH) → ⅔ stakers / ⅓ marketing |
Roadmap
Each phase pays for the next; every fee stream points at the same vault.
Feed the Toad · launch
JINCHAN launches on Pons and the staking vault goes live. Creator fees flow to the vault from the first trade.
The Toad Hunts · scanner + treasury
A free live scanner ranking yield pools on Robinhood Chain, plus an AI-steered treasury that rotates into the best APR inside hard guardrails: whitelisted pools only, a minimum hold period, and an APR-gap threshold before it moves. It can allocate between pools — it can never withdraw to a wallet. All receipts public; profits top up the vault.
The Pond Opens · deposits
Audited vaults for user deposits, auto-rotating to the best APR. Performance fees flow to JINCHAN stakers.
The Toad Buys Stocks · RWA
Extension into Robinhood Chain's tokenized-stock and RWA yield.
FAQ
Is this a rug?
The parts a rug needs are missing: the vault is ownerless with zero admin functions, liquidity is permanently locked by Pons graduation, and there's no pre-mine to dump. Don't take our word for it — verify the contracts yourself. That's what they're published for.
Where does the ETH come from?
Trading fees. Every JINCHAN trade pays a 3% trade fee and ~2.7% of volume flows to the vault in ETH. It is entirely volume-dependent: no trades, no ETH. It can be zero.
Is the yield guaranteed?
No. Nothing here is guaranteed. The vault is a pipe, not a promise — it routes whatever fees actually occur, which depends on trading volume that nobody controls or predicts. Anyone who tells you otherwise is not us.
Do I need to stake to earn?
Yes. Only staked JINCHAN accrues a share of the vault's ETH. Tokens sitting in your wallet earn nothing.
Are there lockups?
None. unstake(amount) works any time, for any amount, with no cooldown or
penalty.
What happens to unclaimed ETH?
It stays yours. Unclaimed ETH sits in the vault attributed to you and keeps accruing; claim whenever you like. Nothing expires, nothing is swept.
What can the dev actually control?
The marketing wallet and the social accounts. That's it. The token is a vanilla ERC-20 minted by Pons, the vault has no admin functions, and the fee split is immutable. There is nothing in the contracts for the dev to pull.
What chain and wallet do I need?
JINCHAN lives on Robinhood Chain. Any wallet that can connect to it and hold ETH there works — you'll need a little ETH on the chain for gas.
Where are the contract addresses?
Revealed at launch. Only trust addresses posted on this site and the official X account. Anything else — a DM, a reply, a lookalike page — is not us.
What does the dev hold?
The dev buys in the launch transaction like anyone can, publicly. Half of that position is staked in the Pond as the Toad's Reserve — pledged to the project: its tokens are never sold, and the ETH it earns goes back into growing the pond (marketing, treasury), not into pockets. The reserve paid the same 5% staking toll as everyone else. The other half is operations — visible on-chain like everything else here.
Are there taxes on the token?
0%. The token has no transfer tax of any kind. The 3% fee is charged at the pool level on trades, the same as every Pons token.
What's the risk?
Real. JINCHAN is a memecoin and can go to zero. Smart-contract risk exists even in audited code. The fee stream can dry up entirely if volume does. Size your position accordingly, and never stake what you can't afford to lose.
